My role is to support your health and wellbeing through practical lifestyle guidance, self-awareness, and behaviour change, drawing on evidence-based approaches.
I do not provide clinical nutrition or medical advice — this is within the scope of a dietitian or other regulated professionals.
I am not a mental health practitioner and do not offer counselling or therapy, although there is space for reflection and supportive coaching conversations.

These sessions are designed to be practical, supportive, and easy to apply to everyday life.

If you are interested in booking a talk for an event or introducing health and wellbeing support in your workplace, please email me to discuss how the Foundations for Healthy Living Series could be tailored to your organisation.
Practical information
Session Length & Format
1:1 sessions last 50–60 minutes.
Sessions are offered in person (South Oxfordshire) or online via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet.
You can choose the focus of each session, or we can structure according to the Foundations for Healthy Living Approach. The pace is always personalised to your needs at each stage.
Availability
Alongside this work, I am employed full time in a health and wellbeing role. For this reason, I’m not able to answer phone calls during working hours. Please email me to organise a quick phone call to discuss availability.
In-person sessions: Saturday mornings.
Online sessions: Monday and Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings.
Sessions Frequency
Most clients choose to meet fortnightly or monthly, depending on their needs and capacity.
I usually recommend a minimum of six sessions to allow time for reflection, habits implementation, and meaningful change.
Contact
The best way to get in touch is via email. I will respond as soon as I can during my available time (typically within 2 days).
Cancellations and Missed Sessions
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice, as this allows me to cancel the venue in time and avoid unnecessary costs.
Cancellations:
• 48 hours’ notice or more: no charge
• Between 24 and 48 hours’ notice: £15 cancellation fee to cover venue costs
• Less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance: 50% of the session fee
Gentle FAQs
A few things you might be wondering. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.
Do I need to know what I want to work on before starting?
Not at all. Some people come with clear goals, while others simply know that something doesn’t feel quite right. Both are equally welcome. If you’re unsure where to start, we can use the space to reflect on how you’ve been feeling, what you’ve noticed about yourself, and what feels most pressing right now. Clarity often emerges through the process.
Is this therapy or counselling?
No. My work sits within health and wellbeing coaching although sessions are held with care, presence, and compassion, and there is space to talk about emotions, self-esteem, and the relationship you have with your body and health. The focus remains on practical support, self-awareness, and making realistic changes.
Do you give meal plans or prescribe diets?
I don’t provide meal plans, calorie counting, or restrictive diets. Instead, I support you to understand nutrition in a practical, accessible way, so you can make informed choices that fit your preferences, culture, lifestyle, and budget. My aim is to help you build confidence and independence around food, rather than reliance on rules or external plans.
What if I’ve tried many things before and nothing has worked?
Many people I work with arrive feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or discouraged after trying multiple approaches. Often, the issue isn’t lack of effort, but approaches that were too rigid, too fast, or disconnected from real life. My work focuses on meeting you at your stage of readiness, starting small, and building consistency with kindness. Change doesn’t need to be “all-or-nothing” to be meaningful.
What if I don’t have much time or energy?
That’s okay — and very common. We work with the reality of your life, not an ideal version of it. Sometimes progress looks like very small steps, taken consistently. Together, we focus on what feels manageable now, respecting your energy levels and capacity, and adjusting as things change.
Is this only for weight loss?
No. I don’t offer weight loss promises or programmes. My focus is on supporting healthier lifestyles through nutrition, movement, rest, and mind care. For most people, weight changes may happen as a consequence of these changes, but it isn’t the central goal. Health, in my work, is about feeling more connected, and able to care for yourself in sustainable ways.
How long does it usually take to notice changes?
There’s no fixed timeline, as everyone’s journey is different. Often people notice shifts in awareness, confidence, or self-compassion quite early. Others experience gradual changes over time. The focus is on building trust in the process and in yourself, once consistent and realistic actions are what lead to lasting results.
What if I’m neurodivergent or struggle with motivation and consistency?
You’re not alone, and this is something I’m very mindful of. Sessions can be adapted to support executive functioning challenges, fluctuating motivation, and emotional regulation. We focus on curiosity rather than judgement, and on developing strategies that work with your mind and body, not against them.
How do I know if this is right for me?
If you’re looking for a supportive, non-judgemental space, practical guidance without pressure, and an approach that respects your pace and autonomy, this may be a good fit. You don’t need to be ready or certain — just open to exploring what you need right now.
What happens if I miss a session or lose momentum?
I understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask that you do so in advance.
If momentum dips, that’s met with curiosity rather than judgement. Setbacks are a natural part of any change process. Together, we take time to reflect on what may have made it harder to follow the plan, and we gently adjust or simplify things.
